One of McCann’s most notable roles was playing the young daughter of Adam Sandler’s character Michael, in the film Click. As in the film, the main character Michael finds a remote control which allows him to fast forward time.
At first Michael skips past the boring parts of life such as working and doing chores, however the side effect of his decision is that time started to skip forward at a rapid rate and he lost his family before his eyes. While films which are produced by Sandler or which star Sandler are normally light hearted flicks, Click is a more serious comedy, with plenty of heart.
Click was a box office hit and drew approximately $240 million dollars during its run in cinemas around the world.
She went on to star in The Time Traveler’s Wife:
A few years after appearing in Click, McCann appeared in another huge blockbuster film The Time Traveler’s Wife in 2009. In the romantic film, McCann starred as the two main characters’ Henry and Claire’s daughter Alba. You may be surprised to learn that Tatum played the role of young Alba while her older sister Hailey played the slightly older version of the same character.
If you have never seen The Time Traveler’s Wife which is based off the book of the same name by romance author Audrey Niffenegger, the movie revolves around a couple who fall in love Henry and Claire. However, this is no basic romance film and Henry has a rare genetic condition which means that throughout his life without warning he would drift back and forth throughout time. Which makes his romance with his love of his life and eventual wife Claire difficult. As their relationship is non-linear in time. For example, after Henry passes away and Claire becomes an elderly woman, she gets a visit from a young version of her husband, for the very last time. Which is an incredibly romantic yet sad moment.

In an interview about her time on set of The Time Traveler’s Wife, Tatum reveled that she was inspired to start acting after her older sister Hailey dabbled in the world of acting. Tatum revealed that the very first role that she was cast in was a TV ad for a cat food commercial.
Career:
Tatum decided not to pursue a career as an actress and ended up pursuing a career as a fitness influencer. However, due to her star power as a child, she still commands a large following on her social media profiles such as Instagram.
So while you may not see McCann on the small screen or the silver screen anytime soon, it’s well worth re-watching her appearances in The Time Traveler’s Wife and Click.
