THE STAR SCOOP'S REVIEW:
How To Eat Fried Worms - quickly, of course. Summer's gooiest good time, this movie is fast paced, entertaining, and above all else, completely and totally disgusting. Kids will gobble it up, and even parents will find reason to smile. Based on the book by Thomas Rockwell, How To Eat Fried Worms tells the classic story of a bullied boy who takes a stand, and fights...the urge to upchuck, that is. The cast is full of young talents, from star Luke Benward as Billy, Hallie Kate Eisenberg as Erika, the girl who comes to the rescue, Adam Hicks as Joe Guire and a slew of sidekick characters like Adam (Austin Rogers) and Twitch (Alexander Gould). The meal is made, the plates prepared, and How To Eat Fried Worms is serving up a full order of gross. It's also grossly real (except for the worm eating anyway). The movie is a glimpse into the lives of today's youth and the cruel world they live in. However, it's important to remember, a kids' world is also a fun one, and this film is above all, fun!
VERDICT:
Get squirmy and wormy, you'll love it!
