Disney sure knows the meaning of the word "appeal." How do you make a favorite soundtrack even better, even scarier, and even more appealing? By adding a whole disc devoted to bonus tracks by some of music's funkiest. The twenty track original soundtrack comes with nine bonus tracks, which include covers by Marilyn Manson, Fiona Apple, Fallout Boy, She Wants Revenge, and Panic! At the Disco. Not merely copies of the original, these covers are true to the music, but still true to the artists, who all retain their own signature style. The other four bonus songs are performed by Danny Elfman, the brilliant composer behind the, The Nightmare Before Christmas score itself. This soundtrack is one of the best holiday finds out there for the family, and yes, you can, should, and probably will, listen to it year round.
